How does (Visual) Group Communication affect Creativity? Emerging Insights & Challenges
In this talk I report on recent experiments we have conducted through which we examine the impact of visual modes of team communication on the process and outcome of idea generation. I present existing principles of
collaborative creativity, based on prior studies, that have lead to our own set of hypotheses regarding high-quality ideation. I present a research design and first empirical results to examine these hypotheses. In concluding, I discuss our first insights from these experiments as well as on-going research challenges.
